  4. Do not fill the gas tank of the car.
  5. Remove or secure any specialty items on the car, such as spoilers or ground effects.
  6. Lower the antennae on the car.
  7. A convertible should be shipped with the top up.
  8. Make a detailed report of any pre-existing conditions.
